Purchasing Power takes the responsible budgeting aspect of our program very seriously. We want to help when there's not another reasonable purchase option to turn to. The convenience of automatic deductions can be very attractive, but we do not want to overburden our customers' budgets.

What is an Estimated Spending Limit?
The spending limit you see is estimated because we need to either validate (if you are new) or re-validate (if you have ordered before) your annual salary. Please continue shopping and when you are ready, you can even check out. Then we’ll validate your annual salary and update your spending limit based on that information.

Why did my spending limit change?
Periodically throughout the year, you may see spending limit adjustments. A spending limit adjustment can go either direction, up or down. These adjustments are computer-generated and impact nearly all our users at some point in the year. A change is not based on your salary or individual spending behavior. The adjustments are based on activity across our entire customer base.

How is a Spending Limit different than a Credit Limit?
There are two main differences. First, Purchasing Power does not conduct a credit check to determine your spending limit. Second, our spending limits are pre-determined based on your tenure and salary. Periodically, we evaluate overall spending limits and make necessary adjustments based on overall customers’ purchase and payment activities.
