Dell Recall Information
Dell has identified a potential issue associated with certain
batteries sold with Dell Latitude and Inspiron notebook computers.
As of August 15, 2006, Dell is voluntarily recalling certain
Dell-branded batteries with cells manufactured by Sony and offering
free replacements for these batteries. For more information or to

Apple Recall Information
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
(CPSC), Apple is voluntarily recalling certain lithium ion
rechargeable batteries that were sold from October 2004 through May
2005 for use with the following notebook computers: 12-inch iBook
G4, 12-inch PowerBook G4 and 15-inch PowerBook G4. For more

Lenovo Recall Information
Lenovo is voluntarily recalling about 526,000 lithium-ion batteries
worldwide that were manufactured by Sony Corporation. The batteries
were sold in ThinkPad notebooks or as replacement batteries between
February 2005 and September 2006. Lenovo has confirmed that these
batteries are subject to overheating, posing a potential fire
hazard. Lenovo will provide free replacements for all recalled
