D. Keith Calhoun joined Purchasing Power in April 2000 as a member of the original management team of the company. Due to his commitment to results, he became the Chief Executive Officer in October of 2000. Mr. Calhoun continues to serve as the company's Chief Executive Officer where he oversees the strategic planning and long-term growth of the company as well as managing relationships with major strategic partners. Mr. Calhoun is also responsible for supporting an entrepreneurial culture within Purchasing Power and leading our business and financial relationships. In June 2001, Mr. Calhoun began rethinking the direction of the company and in October 2001 he established our current business model with the development of our employee computer purchase program. Prior to starting Purchasing Power, he was a successful attorney in private practice for almost 20 years.
Mr. Calhoun holds a Law Degree from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University and a BS in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
Mr. Carrano joined Purchasing Power in August of 2001. Mr. Carrano has finance and accounting experience with both entrepreneurial technology and Fortune 500 firms. Prior to joining Purchasing Power, he served as the CFO of eTour, Inc., an internet navigation company that enabled users to effortlessly explore and discover the web. As a founder of eTour, his efforts led to securing $55 million in equity and debt. eTour was acquired by AskJeeves (now Ask.com (ASKJ)) in 2000. Additionally, Mr. Carrano received strategic planning, cash management, SEC reporting, and systems implementation experience at SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline, (GSK)) and Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Carrano was the recipient of the Atlanta Business Chronicle's CFO of the Year award for private, midsized businesses in 2008. Mr. Carrano holds an MBA in finance from Emory University and a BS/BA (cum laude) in accounting from the University of Richmond. He is also a certified public accountant.
Chadwick F. Delp joined Purchasing Power in April of 2010 as the Chief Financial Officer. Chad brings more than 15 years of investment banking experience and an in depth knowledge of our financial operations. He served as Senior Vice President with Stephens, Inc where he executed dozens of transactions for clients including both buyside and sellside merger & acquisitions and various types of capital raises. Mr. Delp has been a director of Purchasing Power since 2004 and currently serves on the boards of Morrell Wine Group, 5 Star Sports Calendar and ACCESS schools, a non-profit organization which serves the needs of childrens with learning disabilities. Mr. Delp holds an MBA in finance "with distinction" from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he was named a Palmer Scholar upon graduation and a BA (magna cum laude) in economics from Washington and Lee University.
Elizabeth joined Purchasing Power in April of 2006 as the Director of Product Management. In 2007, Ms. Halkos was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing as a result of her ability to drive results, demonstrate sales and marketing leadership, and execute effectively against strategic initiatives. Ms. Halkos has experience in account management, brand and marketing management, and business development. As an expert in marketing strategy, Elizabeth's case study work was selected to be published in "Customer Equity: Building and Managing Relationships as Valuable Assets" in 2001 by the Harvard Business School Press. Prior to joining Purchasing Power, she was with Inforte Consulting where she helped build their marketing practice, lead sales efforts, and serve as the Account Executive for CPG brands including Ocean Spray and the Miller Brewing Company. Additionally, Ms. Halkos received brand management, sales and strategic planning experience while at monster.com and EarthLink. In 2008, Ms. Halkos was elected to serve on the Alumni Board for Emory's Goizueta Business School. Ms. Halkos holds an MBA with a concentration in marketing analytics from Emory University and a BA from the University of Virginia.
Mark Robertson serves as Vice President of Information Technology at Purchasing Power, having joined the company in 2007. He leverages an extensive technology background to oversee the comprehensive IT operations at Purchasing Power, including application development support, infrastructure support, as well as project management, business analysis and quality assurance. Previously he spent nearly twenty years at Equifax, Inc. where he was instrumental in the growth and development of its Credit Marketing Services (CMS) startup division. Mr. Robertson contributed his vision, experience and energy to help grow CMS to a $160 million business. Prior to that, he held technology and executive management positions at Equifax, where he managed IT resources for the software development and support of Oracle Financial Applications, as well as Operational and Back Office systems. In addition, Mr. Robertson was handpicked to join the development team responsible for the implementation of Oracle Financial Applications 10.7sc, and has architected, developed, tested and implemented numerous applications and programs. He is also very active in community service, lending his time and support to Compassion in Action and Unite, organizations that help provide food, clothing, and financial support to families in need. Mr. Robertson also contributes his support to Youth Motivation Day, which encourages students to go to college and pursue their dreams. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Alabama. In addition, Mr. Robertson is actively involved in the Oracle Atlanta User Group.
Reena Mattupurath is the Vice President of Finance and Controller of Purchasing Power. She was appointed to the position in 2006 as a result of her well-rounded business sense and in depth knowledge of company operations. She is responsible for complete financial operations managing accounting, finance and asset recovery. She brings strong financial leadership, work ethic and collaboration to the company. Ms. Mattupurath joined Purchasing Power in May of 2002 as Controller. Prior to joining the company, she held both auditing and accounting positions in various industries ranging from manufacturing, staffing and financial services. She also created and organized her own company which provided financial consulting and billing services for specialty physicians. Ms. Mattupurath was born in India and migrated to this country at the age of 11. She earned her Bachelor's degree in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Eleanor Fulton joined Purchasing Power in August of 2007. She established a method of Corporate Performance Reporting for the company and was key in creating a mid-level management forum to strengthen communication within the organization. In 2008, Ms. Fulton was assigned responsibility for managing the company's operations as a result of her tremendous leadership, flexibility, and focus. In her prior career at Worldspan (now Travelport), Ms. Fulton managed information technology application development for major airline operations. Additionally, she led business transformation initiatives to create a culture of innovation and improve on-boarding new clients. She has a passion for data and fact drive decisions, core to process improvement. Ms. Fulton holds an MBA in international business from Georgia State University and a BS in physics from Oglethorpe University. She is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Ms. Fulton is a metro-area Atlanta native.
Racquel Roberts joined Purchasing Power in June of 2006. Racquel has over 12 years of human resources experience with a broad focus on employment law, recruiting, training, benefits administration, organizational development and employee relations in the financial services and medical industries. Prior to joining Purchasing Power, Racquel served as the Human Resources Manager of Sibley Heart Center, a subsidiary of the nationally ranked Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Racquel holds a PHR certification through the Society for Human Resources Management as well as a BS in Social Sciences from Georgia College and State University.
